Mississippi Supercomputer Users Advisory Group to Meet at MAS,
Friday, February 23, 1:15 PM

All MCSR researchers are invited to attend this year's annual briefing to the Mississippi Supercomputer User Advisory Group (MSUAG). In conjunction with the Spring MAS Meeting, at 1:15 PM, Friday, February 23rd, MCSR staff will give a 30 minute presentation to MCSR researchers in the Bost Auditorium South, on the MSU campus. MSUAG members will be briefed on several topics, including Budget Outlook, Staffing News, and Outreach Initiatives. This is a good time for formal MSUAG members and non-member researchers alike to meet the MCSR staff, learn what is going on at MCSR, and provide ideas and feedback on how service can be improved.

MCSR will also have an exhibit table at MAS. Please stop by with any MCSR questions or to open an account on one of the supercomputers. We will be giving out MCSR pens and brochures on Thursday, and MCSR cookies on Friday.

The following is the presentation schedule for the Mathematics, Computer Sciences, and Statistics Division of MAS, starting Thursday, February 22, at the Hunter Henry Center and Bost Extension Center at Mississippi State University, as published in the January 27 Abstract Issue of the Journal of the Mississippi Academy of Sciences.

Thursday speaker presentations will be in Hunter Henry Executive Room 12
