    Operating System

The Cluster is running SuSE Linux 9.3

    Programming Environment

Available programming languages include the Portland Group Compiler suite (PGI CDK 6.1) of Fortran, C, and C++. The MPICH implementations of MPI, ver.1.2.5 and 1.2.7p1 are installed for parallel programming. A list of compilers available on mimosa may be viewed here. Quantitative libraries such as BLAS, LAPACK, ARPACK, and Atlas are also available.

    Portable Batch System

PBSPro 7.1 is available for batch job submission. There is no checkpoint/restart capability.

    Applications

NWChem, Gamess, Amber (Ver 8 & 9) and Gaussian 03/w TCP Linda are now supported applications.
