Regular Local Singings

This list contains entries describing shape-note singings that occur four or more times a year and that draw singers primarily from the immediate locale where they take place. No conventions or annual singings are listed.

This list was originally compiled and maintained by Bob Hall and Ella Wilcox of Falls Church, Virginia. It is now maintained as needed by Annie Grieshop, and once a year by the editors of the Sacred Harp Minutes and Directory. If we have left out a singing, or if any information is incorrect, please notify Annie Grieshop by e-mail: annie@allthingspiano.com. If the update will be valid in 2008, it is also important to send corrections, updated directions, or other information regarding singing dates and locations to minutes@fasola.org for inclusion in future minute books and online schedules. Listings of singings using other books listed below are welcome, though they may not appear in the printed version.
